Kiro Hirata and his father Toshikiyo Hirata have made Kapital a brand that fuses experimental designs with cutting-edge production techniques. This 1st Type jacket is sewn from boro cloth created at Kapital's headquarters in Kojima, Japan. Each different fabric in the patchwork is started as new, and has been worked carefully to match archival textiles before being sewn into a jacket.
